A study tour on Italian wholesale markets was organised by FAO and the CEI Wholesale Markets Foundation on 6-8 June 2005. Participants visited Rome Wholesale Market, Fondi Wholesale Market, Salerno Wholesale Market and Naples Wholesale Market.
A meeting of the CEI Working Group on Agriculture was held on 29 April 2005 at the CEI Headquarters in Trieste. The Foundation was represented by its vice-president Mr. Zoran Krsnik. The CEI confirmed its financial assistance to the Foundation in regards to training activities, seminars and workshops.
Annual meeting of the Foundation took place in Romania, on 10–14 April 2005.

FRESH2005, a three-day conference and exhibition, meets in Budapest, Hungary, on 1–3 June 2005.
