The Foundation members visited the world's top trade fair for fresh fruit and vegetables and the related industries. FRUIT LOGISTICA is the leading international meeting place of the fresh produce trade where approximately 2,000 companies from across the entire fresh produce value chain present their business potential, including global players as well as small and medium-sized suppliers from all around the world.
After a 2-day visit to the exhibition site, the Foundation members had a plenary meeting to discuss the following issues:
Approval of the Foundation 2010 Financial Statements and Report
Approval of the final text of the Foundation new Statute better addressing the challenges of the rapidly changing marketplace
Foundation action plan for the autumn 2011 workshop and for 2012
