Agricultural income in EU-25 in 2004: +3.3% in real terms

According to Eurostat the first estimates of agricultural income for 2004 show an year-on-year increase of 3.3% in the European Union as a whole. The increase was mainly due to contribution of ten new Member States, where agricultural income increased by an average of 53.8%. In the same time the income in the “old” states rose by 0.8%.
